The three piece has evolved into a four piece, and for this special event, there is another set of drums and a horn section. Joe's brand new producer, Kevin Shirley, the man behind Joe's last 3 CD's, brings his insight and creativity into the mix as well. With the new setup, Joe has soared to new and uncharted territory. That isn't more evident than in this Blu-Ray. The performance starts off with a short interview with Joe and then goes right into the concert. The playlist is mostly off The Ballad of John Henry and tunes Joe plays on tour. A couple songs into the set, Joe brings out Eric Clapton in a once-in-a-lifetime rendition of Further Down the Road. The concert runs for another 2 hours in high-quality 5.1 DTS and has an equal mix of Joe's powerful blues tunes and his guitar-shredding ones, and each one will one is turbo-charged with passion and precision.
