This features 24 ultra-rare tracks recorded in the 1920s by 14 female blues artists, who, with the exception of Memphis Minnie are barely known. An ear-opening collection, with great liner notes and digipak packaging, this is strongly recommended for fans of the The Harry Smith Anthology, the 'American Primitive' compilations on Revenant, & Sister Rosetta Tharpe.
