Jayne drove on to the Country Music scene two years ago with her hit 'Chick Ute' which struck a chord with country music fans, especially the Ute fraternity. 'Chick Ute' was followed by album 'Sudden Change in Weather' which was touted as  'a superb debut album' in Capital News Magazine.  The album debuted  # 6 on the Australian Country Charts and # 9 on the AIR Indie Chart. The popularity of 'Chick Ute' spread from the Northern Territory to Europe as people heard a refreshingly new country sound. In Australia the video clip charted for 16 weeks on the Country Music Channel Top 30 Chart. Jayne's success has seen her perform at Country Music festivals all over Australia including Tamworth and main stage at the Gympie Muster. Jayne's energetic on stage performance marks her as a true entertainer. Her second single 'Cousin Jude' continued Jayne's success and resulted in her receiving the 2008 Australian Independent Country Music Awards Rising Star Female. 'Country Girl with a Rock and Roll Heart' her third single was 'Pick of the Week' on the Country Music Channel and immediately charted at #18 and peaked at #10.The first release to radio from the new album which is 'Shake This Town' is sure to become yet another signature song for Jayne. The other tracks on the album are strong and have real potential as future releases.
