In 1990 Dave Hole sent a copy of his first indie release Short Fuse Blues to Guitar Player magazine, hoping for a review and maybe some publicity. What he didn't expect was a cover story, nor the contract with Alligator Records that was offered shortly thereafter. This 1995 album showcases the sound that turned heads in the first place, his unorthodox overhand slide technique and his energetic live feel.
