"Sweet Runaway" was done in The Yearlings' home studio "My Sweet Mule Recording Lounge", and BJ Barker played drums, Mick Wordley played bass, tiple and wurly, Richard Coates, accordian and Lyndon Gray played some upright bass.

 | Sweet Yearlings Bo Richards on 27.06.2011 These guys are amazing, there sound, reminisent of the great alt Country americana genre but born out of Adelaide, South Australia, there sound is all there own, songs that rock sad and slow, like a chair on an old wooden porch, beautiful harmonies, hang on every note guitar playing and songs that evoke the australian landscape, soothing and haunting. This album is one that you keep going back to, i only hope for The Yearlings sake that it can rise above the over hyped albums that seem to get all the attention. Bo. |
