Australian artist EK has gained a reputation as one of the nations unique talents in the art of breakbeat. As a live act, DJ and producer EK combines his varied musical influences into a fusion of tuff beats, twisted electronic sounds and epic melodies that have won him support from some of the biggest names in the global breakbeat scene such as Rennie Pilgrim, Koma and Bones, Plump Djs, Hybrid, 10 sui, Tayo, Freq Nasty, Hyper and many many more. When All Else Fails was his first EP for the Sound Not scene label and it carved up dance floors worldwide. To this day EK continues to turn out 12"s and the plaudits haven't stopped. Its no wonder then that producers like Hyper, Uberzone, Future Funk Squad and C83 have all shared studio time with him on various projects. While outside of the studio, his music has featured in Stussy World Skate TourVideos and multiple episodes on Ripcurl's TV shows (featured locally on Channel 9 and internationally via Cable TV in the US, France, Germany and Japan). In between his own productions he has managed to produce some wicked remixes including, The Crystal Methods "Born to Slow", Peace Divisions "Groove me" and Sweden' s Stisch "Beauty In Me" and more.
