Citizen Records presents an inventory of its 7 years of existence and gives us its first 'Vinyl Collection'. In a time for digestion of hype-marketed albums, Citizen stands out as an independent label writing a story of perpetual creation. Sometimes a forerunner, the label abounds with a roster of devastating music. This is a retrospective designed for the ones who have been familiar with the label from the debut maxis by The Silures, as well as the ones who recently discovered the label from Dijon, Burgundy through Teenage Bad Girl or The Micronauts. Citizen takes up the challenge of gathering diverse generations of electro lovers. Featuring artists embodying Citizen's spirit and soul: Terence Fixmer's powerful EBM, Remote's minimal Detroit sound, John Lord Fonda's devastating melodies, as well as Monosurround's electro disco, Matzak's minimal charm, or Sad Mafioso's techno and The Penelopes' dance rock. Finally, The Silures (Vitalic and Linda Lamb's side project) are present too, and so is Lady B, back on Citizen, after releasing an EP on Boys Noize Records.
