In 1996, an album that quietly yet undeniably altered the landscape and expanded the bounds of modern music was released. Endtroducing. the debut long-player from Northern California's DJ Shadow fulfilled Run-DMC's dream of DJ-as-band and resolutely announced that turntabalism (as it would become known) could not only exist outside the club, but also welcomed repeated listening. 2CD Deluxe edition of the album offers insight into both the making and the effect of the original album. The first CD offers the original album remastered, while the second CD offers a selection of original demos, alternate mixes and musical ideas that served as DJ Shadow's blueprint for the album, along with rare remixes and tracks that were issued exclusively on singles at the time of the album's release.
