Canadian born Leslie Feist performed her first proper gig supporting the Ramones when her high school punk band won a band comp. Now known simply as Feist, she reinvented her style after losing her voice at 19. Her critically acclaimed album 'Let It Die' is bittersweet, delicate, stylish, intimate pop. Like line drawings as opposed to detailed paintings, the songs leave you space to fill in the emotional blanks.
