The EP is six tracks bursting with flavour. His music is as much hip hop as it is electronic as it is pop & R'n'B. Hudson Mohawke's playful, leftfield approach to hip hop is certainly an example of music without boundaries, and for that reason, Hudson Mohawke's debut EP, 'Polyfolk Dance' EP, couldn't have a more apt title: Hudmo takes the loose structure of hip hop's rhythm and metre, and flirts outrageously with pop, R&B, psychedelia, rave, 8bit and, with a whole-heap of impish charm.
