'The Sound Catcher' is DJ Vadim's first full length project since 2005's critically acclaimed supergroup release ONE SELF, it's also his BBE Records debut and is said to be his most definitive work to date, the seventeen-track set sees the long time NINJA TUNE artist throwing formality out the window and following his own path and plan. 'The Sound Catcher' enlists a diverse line up of heavy hitters adding to the vast plateaux ofsonics, everyone from soul singers to rappers are present on this offering (SKINNYMAN, ABSTRACT RUDE, KATHRIN DE BOER) creating everything from straight shots of soul to dense dubby instrumentals to dark groove and reggae varied with brushes of blues, soul and rap,cosmopolitan, urban and even grime bedlam with double time bounce.
