Portishead's first album Dummy was enormous, selling over 3.5 million copies.
The follow up Portishead sold 2 million.

Portishead was a critical phenomenon with the international media as well as being wildly popular with music lovers around the world. It would not be exaggeration to say their sound shaped a whole generation of music lovers who are still active and still buying music.

Now at long last they release their third highly anticipated new album, aptly titled Third. "The album is not a singles album, it's a body of work" say the band.
