With a career spanning well over a decade, British electronic act SQUAREPUSHER (aka. Tom Jenkinson) has been greatly praised for his innovation and continued boundary pushing musical explorations. Broadly described as an electronic musician, Squarepusher is perhaps best known for his experimental drum'n'bass with a heavy jazz fusion influence. A skilled bassist and multi-instrumentalist, Jenkinson returns to more electronic sounds from his earlier work on 'Ufabulum'. "I've started thinking about pure electronic music again. Something very melodic, very aggressive", he explains. From the inception of 'Ufabulum', he has worked simultaneously on sound and picture. The project features a development of a longstanding aspect of his live work since 2005, a self custom designed "video-synthesiser" that generates imagery according to control data and audio input.
