'Useless Wooden Toys' is JON KENNEDY's second album for GRAND CENTRAL, after the acclaimed debut 'Take My Drum To England'. On this album Jon (a trained drummer) plays the Contra Bass, Bongos, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Harmonica and his beloved Drums as well as providing most of thevocals. The album itself has many different musical inferences: breakbeat and psychedelic tobossa nova and dub.
