Female fronted Madder Mortem hail from Norway and were formed in 1993 under the originalname of Mystery Tribe. They soon changed their name to Madder Mortem & released their debutalbum - MERCURY on Misanthropy Records in 1999 and went on to release two critically acclaimedalbums "All Flesh is Grass" and "Deadlands" after Misanthropy records folded. The new albumand second for Peaceville Records "Eight Ways" follows on from where 2006's criticallyacclaimed "Disiderata" and is their most mature and challenging to date using their experience andexperimentation from previous efforts to channel the very essence of what is Madder Mortem own styleand sound.
