Lizzy Borden are ambassadors for true American Metal in the vein of Alice Cooper or Twisted Sister and have beenflying the flag since the early 80's. Taking their name from the infamous axe murder case of the 1840's in which a young girl,Lizzie Borden, was brought to trial for murder of her father and stepmother.Master of Disguise, originally released in 1989 marked the end for Lizzie Borden until recently when the band announcedplans to record a new album. To mark the occasion and also celebrate their integral place in Metal's history the album islovingly re issued as part of Metal Blades 25th anniversary series and includes two previously un released tracks plus abonus DVD featuring performance footage and the making of "Master of Disguise" as well as rehearsal footage andinterviews.
