Melbourne’s heavy hitting power trio CONTRIVE returns with their long overdue highly anticipated 2nd album The Internal Dialogue. Featuring eight epic, heavy & emotive tracks showcasing their vast and unique musical approach separating them from the usual generic ramblings flooding the today’s current heavy music scene. The band enlisted the mixing services from their good pal Canadian genius DEVIN TOWNSEND (Strapping Young Lad) delivering stunning sonic results. CONTRIVE have been honing their craft since their inception in 1999 with supports under their belt from the likes of OPETH, MACHINE HEAD, DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND, STONE SOUR, SEPULTURA, SOILWORK and more. The band also features the “voice of heavy metal”, drummer Andrew Haug, host of the weekly Radio show The Racket on TRIPLE J Nationally.
