On their thirteenth album - Th1rt3en - Megadeth are born anew with the return of the co founding member and bassist David Ellefson and their recent triumph tour as part of The Big 4 alongside Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax. Megadeth were instrumental in pioneering the Thrash metal movement of the early 80's and also taking the underground movement to the mainstream with multi platinum success in the late 80's and early 90's. Thrash has seen resurgence in recent years and Megadeth are at the fore of this movement as pioneers of the genre.
