Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass first crossed paths when recording the album 'Take Love Easy' in 1973, which was Ella's first duet album with a guitarist. After the success of that album they toured often together and recorded 3 more LPs duet together. The TV show presented here was made during a European tour that took place before the recording of their second album, Fitzgerald & Pass...Again, in 1976. Includes the only known versions by Ella and Joe of no less than 6 songs.
