'Out Of Sight' is lean, groovy, and very well suited for the 60s-styled title of the album! Pat's a jazz singer, but also has an edge that's quite different than most other standard vocals. Backings are by a small combo featuring Seldon Powell, Kenny Burrell and Ray Bryant. 'Feelin' Good' is fantastic work, and a session that also features some key solos from alto saxophonist Charles McPherson as well! The rest of the group is great too, with Tommy Flanagan, All Hall and Osie Johnson.
