Inspired playing by the great bassist and his quartet featuring trumpet legendFlavio Ambrosetti, saxophonist Gary Campbell and drummer GeraldCleaver, plus on three pieces legendary French clarinettist Michel Portal. The material, with the exception of his variations on Ornette Coleman'sLonely Woman, is composed by Vitous and includes tributes to Joe Zawinuland Wayne Shorter.

While in Sydney the band decided to rent a room in the famous Studio 301 in Sydney for their off-days in the middle of the tour and jammed for two consecutive days to develop new songs and material. |
