This release contains the rarely heard 1957 album Soft Sands, appearing hereon CD for the very first time. The LP shocases Peterson playing romanticballads backed by the Buddy Bregman orchestra, and singing on four tunes ina style akin to Nat "King" Cole. As a bonus, there's also the complete trio album, Play My Fair Lady, and alive performance of John Lewis' The Golden Striker that has never previouslyappeared on CD.
