This recording of the Dave Brubeck Quartet's last ever public appearance which took place the day after Chirstmas 26th December 1967 in Pittsburgh. Comprising of the band members Dave Brubeck (Piano), Paul Desmond (Alto Sax), Eugene Wright (Bass) and Joe Morello (Drums). With the recording being December 26th, traditionally record companies close for the entire week between Christmas and New Years so it was not recorded by Columbia but came from Dave Brubeck's archives and hence recorded in mono. The liner notes contain an interview with Producer Russell Gloyd and Dave Brubeck.
