At The Drive-In was founded in 1993 by guitarist Jim Ward and lead vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala and their debut album "Acrobatic Tenement" was a culmination of three years of touring the States. "Acrobatic Tenement", the band's first full length studio album was released in July 1996 and was made for $600, but marks the beginning of not only the bands career, but multiple off shoots as well.
