Rufus Wainwright's 6th studio release, All Days Are Nights: Songs For Lulu. Much of the inspiration behind All Days Our Nights: Songs For Lulu comes from experiences and an attraction to the dark side that Rufus shares with his muse Lulu, who is herself a representation of the silent screen actress Louise Brooks. Rufus has described Lulu as a "dark brooding feminine power" and says the album is a reaffirmation of that persona: "Highly romantic, highly unstable. I mean, what I have found is that once you give up on a life, it doesn't go away. You are always appeasing, or bargaining with, or neglecting that former self, the spirit who used to be behind the wheel, and would like to be still. I don't cross to that side of the street any more. But it is important for me as a healthy person to acknowledge that the demons are still around."

Closing Time is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Tom Waits, released in March 1973 on Asylum Records. Produced and arranged by former Lovin' Spoonful member Jerry Yester. The album's lead, and only, single, "Ol' '55", attracted attention due to a cover version by Waits' better known label mates The Eagles. Other songs from the album were covered by artists ranging from Tim Buckley to Bette Midler.
