Yusuf Islam, the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, has sold over 60 million albums worldwide since the 1970s and has written and performed many hits, including the highly acclaimed Moonshadow, Morning Has Broken, The First Cut Is The Deepest and Peace Train. Yusuf has nine Top 30 singles and nine Top 30 albums (including the Gold selling Remember Cat Stevens) in Australia. Yusuf now brings us the highly anticipated new album An Other Cup, his first release of new material since his conversion to Islam in 1977. An Other Cup features guest performances from Alun Davies, Jean Roussel and Youssou N’Dour.

On his return to music, Yusuf says "I feel right about making music and singing about life in this fragile world again. It is important for me to help bridge the cultural gaps others are sometimes frightened to cross."
