Coinciding with The Church's 30th anniversary and their induction into this year's ARIA Hall Of Fame, The Blurred Crusade has been repackaged into a softpack with insightful liner notes written by Marty Willson-Piper (guitarist) and evocative period images packaged in a deluxe 12 page booklet. By the time of The Church's second album, 1982's The Blurred Crusade, the world had taken note. With the assistance of renowned producer Bob Clearmountain, The Church quickly refined and redefined their dreamy take on rock. At the core, as always, were Steve Kilbey's semi-detached vocals and mystical words, set against the duelling guitars of Marty Willson-Piper and Peter Koppes. Replacing Nick Ward on the drum stool was Richard Ploog.
