Written and recorded mostly over the course ofthe past year, "Body Of Song" is Mould's first newalbum length release since 2002, and his first sincethe mid-90s to employ a guitar-heavy full-bandapproach ("Paralyzed", "Circles") as well as a fewsubdued, acoustic-based ballads ("High Fidelity","Days Of Rain") and some new twists, such as theelectronically treated vocals riding atop waves ofguitar on "(Shine Your) Light Love Hope."
