The highly anticipated sophomore album from Blaqk Audio is finally here.

‘Bright Black Heaven’ has been a work in progress for almost five years, and the two men at the helm (AFI’s elegant front-man Davey Havok and scintillating lead guitarist Jade Puget) are back with a record full of songs to ignite the dance-floor.

Born out of their love for all things electronic, Davey and Jade have used Blaqk Audio in the past to express risqué material that has showed us a very different side to the duo. After having drip-fed tracks online (Ill Lit Ships and Bon Voyeurs) people are excited about the prospect of even richer electronic numbers, layered with beats and rhythms to get you dancing in your Zu Macbeths. Davey has hit his stride with this record, mastering the transition from brooding emotional front man for one of the scene’s most important alternative rock bands to suggestive and sensual disco maestro.

There’ll be no singing the sorrow with this release. Get ready to dance through Sunday!
