All the way through Closer To The Truth Cher's distinctive voice remains an inspiring instrument to telegraph whatever emotions the songs require. Whether it's a heartfelt ballad co-written by Pink called Lie to Me, an unashamed dance-floor extravaganza Take It Like A Man, a haunting and profoundly romantic I Hope You Find It, a James Bondesque club thriller, Dressed To Kill or poignant anthem to 9/11 Sirens, they are all beautifully executed parts of what critics have already termed a classic as well as a masterpiece.

Closer To The Truth is by far one of the better Cher albums, but it is not THE best which I still hold as Not.Com.Mercial. The songs are catchy with powerful vocals from Cher and powerful lyrics, The styles are diverse from dance music to harder passionate songs. A little bit too much Auto tune but that is to be expected considering it was promoted as a dance album. Woman’s World, I hope you find it and I Walk Alone are brilliant tracks. I believe that this album has far more appeal than just to Cher fans it’s a brilliant album I would recommend this to anyone who wants a powerful strong female album. Of course You Haven’t Seen The Last Of Me needs a mention a brilliant song from Cher’s movie Burlesque, it is included in the deluxe edition. A beautiful track from the album is Sirens about 9/11, It combines strong powerful vocals from Cher with beautiful goose bump inducing lyrics . Seriously stop reading this review and click purchase, you won’t regret it.
Strange at first, but a real winner from CHER.

CHER has produced a very strange cd that grows on you with time untill you just love it to bits. The cd seems like it's confused on whether it wants to be a dance cd with massive auto tune abuse or a teary slow love song cd. At first listening it sounds like a non-thoughout mess. Over time however it grows on you to the point it becomes amazing. CHER has produced a cd which is like two cd's in one, a dance CD that appeals to younger CHER fans and a teary emoional cd that appeals to just about anyone. ALL IN ALL if you've ever considered buying a CHER cd BUY THIS NOW.
