Dan England has certainly come a long way since his days as a service station attendant in Queensland. Within the short space of just one year, Dan won the hearts of a nation with his soulful and angelic voice, dreadlocked hairstyle and warm charisma to become one of the most popular finalists on the 2005 season of Australian Idol. Having just completed supporting Shannon Noll's successful national sell-out tour, Dan has left no doubt that his stage presence is a force to be reckoned with. Not only an amazing singer, Dan is also an accomplished musician and songwriter and has co-written the first single "Reason to Fly" for his debut self-titled mini-album. Included on the mini-album are the tracks "Stay" and "Feel" which Dan also co-wrote with Tim Henwood (Super Jesus, Androids, Rogue Traders) and Jellyfish (Soul Asylum, Pulp, George, 3 x Aria winners), who combined forces to produce this debut release. Dan has now not only gained great support from the general public but also from the Australian music industry, with hard work and an unwavering dedication to his craft.
