Cohen's fifth album released in 1977 was produced and co-written by Phil Spector. Death Of A Ladies' Man both lyrically and stylistically is one of Cohen's career peaks, maybe even a masterpiece. Bob Dylan and Allen Ginsberg sang backup vocals on the chorus of the classic "Don't Go Home With Your Hard-On".
