These 1974 recordings from the highly rated British psych-folk outfit Principal Edwards' Magic Theatre have never seen the light of day until now. Despite heavy duty friends and fans including influential DJ John Peel and Pink Floyd's Nick Mason, the band never received the commercial success they deserved. These unearthed late career recordings document the band as they headed towards a more mainstream pop direction whilst retaining the psychedelic touches that had attracted critical acclaim in the first place.
