Awesome album, well done Van Halen and production Team for creating this masterpiece. Not a weak song on the album, all special in their own way. If you love heavy rock, do yourself a favour and buy this album!

Comes good in the end

An OK start with Tatoo, the album does't really get started until we finally hear a chorus with a hook on Blood and Fire. By track 11 I was wishing they had covered a song like Ice Cream Man, and along comes Stay Frosty - Finally, a rockin' track - and they keep coming with Big River and Beats Workin' - the sort of song you expect from VH. Eddie's shows that he still knows how to solo, just not as many great riffs. If the next album starts the way this one ends, then we might have something.

This album turns the clock back to the Classic Van Halen era (1st 6 albums with Dave). It is an absolute killer with every track more than listenable. I have had it on constant rotation since 3rd Feb. Although a bit heavier than most of their albums, it fits. Some great lyrics on this too and Eddie Van Halen has lost none of his signature axe wielding!! The best album of the past 10 years, easily. A must have for your collection!!
