Recorded with her new band 'The Captains', she also enlisted a bunch of superb collaborators - the great Tim Finn, Sia, Josh Pyke, and Cold Chisel icon Don Walker. Katie Noonan co-produced Emperor's Box with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Didia  who has also produced for the likes of Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen and Powderfinger. The new sound has been recieving rave reviews from industry peers and key tastemakers have been taken by surprise - Kathy McCabe even described the new sound as "deliciously over-the-top alternative pop..."
