This is no ordinary movie soundtrack. It is quite unique as it differs in the sense that it is themed as a "Best of. Infant Sorrow" (Aldous Snow's Band). It features 15 tracks performed by the hilarious Russell Brand as Infant Sorrow. The OST itself was written by Jarvis Cocker of Pulp and Carl Barat of the Libertines, and preformed by Russell Brand. The film is about the character Aldous Snow (originally a rock star in the film "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" ) and follows the story of a young record company executive's journey to London to pursuade the crazy rock star Aldous (played by Russell Brand) to return to the Greek theatre in LA for a 10 year anniversary gig with his band Infant Sorrow. Puff Daddy/ P Diddy brilliantly plays the role of the record label boss and we even have a short appearance by Lars Ulrich as himself! There is also a brief cameo by Hip Hop superstar Pharrell Williams.
