"The Goodbye Girl" is the long awaited Album from Ballarat Band Epicure. After the huge success of their "Life Sentence" EP the album was both much anticipated and burdened with great expectations. It doesn't disappoint. From the haunting title track that opens the album to the beautiful "Distant Seas" which closes (or does it!) the album the listener is carried away by the extraordinary combination of Juan Alban's vocals and the powerful rock arrangements of these talented musicians. The album is chock full of great tracks that meet and often exceed the yardstick set by "Armies Against Me" and "Life Sentence".
