Kate Voegele is a 24 year old American girl who picked up a guitar when she was 15 years old and hasn't put it down since. Her singing and songwriting led her to meet and tour with many of her music idols and eventually got her "discovered" and signed to MySpace Music (through Interscope Records). This signing introduced her to the producers of a very successful TV series called "One Tree Hill" and she added "actor" to her list of accomplishments. The show is now entering its 8th Season where Kate plays a singer songwriter named Mia. Her fan base has grown exponentially in the past few years based on the show's popularity.
