Great Record

Peter M on 19.01.2011

This is a great album that experiments with the traditional Cramps like rockabilly/ blues format in a number of interesting and quite creative ways. The band appear to be using a range of clever sonic studio tricks (such as backward looping and masking), appropriate stomp box guitar effects and the brilliant voice of Mr Cave to expand the vocabulary of the musical form beyond what we already know of the band. The lyrical content of the songs is both quite funny and serious in a Nick Cave kind of way. Definitely worth a listen.
