Joe's new ten track album Hard Knocks was produced by Matt Serletic at Serletic's own Emblem studios in Los Angeles, whose past projects have included working with Collective Soul, Matchbox Twenty, Blessid Union of Souls, Edwin McCain, Stacie Orrico, Taylor Hicks, Rob Thomas, and Carlos Santana. The ten track CD contains 9 original tracks, including songs written by Matt Serletic and Kara Dioguardi. The only cover on the record is titled "I Hope", which is a Dixie Chicks cover (from their 2006 album "Taking The Long Way").
