Seamlessly incorporating country, blues, garage, soul, punk, rock'n'roll, boogie woogie, disco, shoegazer, and metal, the eleven tracks on Hello Rock 'n' Roll take their cues from the classics; Meet The Beatles, Guns n' Roses' Appetite For Destruction, Elvis Presley's debut album, and AC/DC's Highway To Hell. Although remaining true to the rebellious nature of old school rock'n'roll, Hello Rock 'n' Roll is a record tailored to the tastes of the modern listener. All the high end production values are there; huge drums, crunching guitars and big vocals, but the also album also has a very warm feel. Smitty (the singer and guitar player) and B. Goode (the drummer and singer), credit this warmth to the recording techniques employed by band and engineer, Lachlan Mitchell (Hard Ons!, Jezebels, The Getaway Plan, Frenzal Rhomb); the band recorded the entire album over two days! All of the vocals were done in one four hour period.
