"HOT MESS" follows Cobra Starship's acclaimed 2007 release, "iVIVA LA COBRA!" the album - which featured the singles "The City Is At War" and "Guilty Pleasure" - drawing acclaim for its idiosyncratic blending of eclectic party anthems and witty cultural critique. The single from HOT MESS is "Good Girls Go Bad" - produced by Kevin Rudolf (Lil' Wayne, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West) was co-written by American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and features Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester on guest vocals. Cobra Starship is an American pop punk band created by former Midtown bassist/lead vocalist Gabe Saporta. The members consist of lead vocalist Saporta, guitarist Ryland Blackinton, bassist Alex Suarez, Nate Novarro on drums and Victoria Asher on keytar, all of whom provide backing vocals.
