Raven presents for the first time ever on CD the classic album Jerry Jeff Walker (1972) by the famed Country art-ist JERRY JEFF WALKER. Most widely known as the writer of the oft-covered and immensely popular Mr. Bojangles', Walker came to prominence in the early 1970s as part of the progressive outlaw Country scene around Austin, Texas, alongside Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Billy Joe Shaver, Waylon Jennings and Townes Van Zandt. Originally recorded for Decca / MCA in 1972, Jerry Jeff Walker completed his transition from New York folkie to bona fide Texas singer / song writer and this album is considered to be his masterpiece.
