Van Morrison's new album Keep It Simple is a homage to his influences from jazz, blues, folk, celtic, country, soul and gospel. Keep It Simple is Morrison's first album since his country covers record Pay The Devil from 2006 and his last album of completely original material since 2003's What's Wrong With This Picture. In 2005, he released Magic Time that had a few covers. Keep It Simple is Morrison's 33rd studio album and features all new Morrison compositions. It bypasses the brassy sound of previous Morrison albums and has a stripped back sound. Songs from the album include Soul, That's Entertainment, Song Of Home and How Can A Poor Boy as well as the title track Keep It Simple. The album is now available in full on 12" collectors vinyl.
