The second full-length release, 'The Last Thing You'll Ever Do', demonstrates the band's keen ear for pop savvy tunes that feature swaggering, whisky drenched, chain-smoking vocals, guitars with serious bipolar complexes and intelligent, intriguing arrangements that sees the tender-aged lads (early 20's) beyond their proverbial years musically. Polyvinyls' emphasis on songwriting shows with the band's dark, evasive and vast sound that, in contrast with the pop undertones, makes for an engaging listen to say the least.
