In LA's trendy Silverlake district, Kennedy has shared the stage with the likes of Fiona Apple, Jon Brion, Diamond Nights, Tenacious D, Ozomatli, The Black Keys, Juliana Hatfield, Jimmy Eat World. After being kicked out of LA's Silversun Pickups for setting the singer's sweater on fire, Kennedy was selected to open for Jon Brion at Cafe Largo in Los Angeles, Jon invited Kennedy to record at his studio with engineer Tom Biller (Kanye West, Fiona Apple, Sean Lennon).
