Lou Reed is one of the most important artists to grace the world of rock. He influenced glam, punk, post-punk, new wave, grunge, lo-fi and just about every movement since. Here we have two separate live sessions: Disc 1 contains a solo show recorded in NY in 1972, where Reed presented the album Transformer, accompanied by a band that was clearly bringing a breath of fresh air to this repertoire. The second disc offers a show from the final years of Velvet Underground, when they presented the album Loaded in small clubs throughout the US. Both discs are special treats for fans of The Man and The Band.
HEAVY ROTATION (UK / AUS VERSION) $26.99 (AUD) Anastacia - I called the album Heavy Rotation because it's a phrase that originated with DJs, and also for me the meaning is, life can be heavy, but it all turns around and goes into something else. It seemed to be the perfect title for where I'm at in my life | $24.99 (AUD) 2011 album from the kick-ass heavy rock quartet. On Murder The Mountains, Red Fang wave a middle finger at fashion and bet the proverbial house on substance over style. The incredible "Wires", "Number Thirteen", "Hank Is Dead", and "The Undertow" are just a few of an onslaught of highlights on this front-to-back set of great songs. | Greatest Hit & 21 Other Pretty Cool Songs $21.99 (AUD) | $20.99 (AUD) |
