On September 20th, 2007 Paul Kelly performed at The Empire Theatre in Toowoomba, QLD in front of an adoring crowd. The show took place at the tail end of Paul's 6 week national theatre tour in support of the album "Stolen Apples" where he performed his latest album in it's entirety before playing some of his most loved songs during the second half of the show. The show was filmed by Melbourne's Renegade Films and directed by Paul Drane. After several months of mixing and editing under the watchful eye of PK himself, "Live Apples: Stolen Apples Performed Live in its Entirety Plus 16 More Songs" is ready to see the light of day. As the title suggests, this 2 hour show includes Paul's latest gold selling album 'Stolen Apples' performed from stat to finish and a selection of other classic songs spanning his entire career such as: 'To Her Door', 'Deeper Water', 'Dumb Things', 'Sweet Guy', 'Before Too Long' and 'Careless'. Bonus award winning 'God Told Me To' music video

$31.99 (AUD) | Electra Heart (Deluxe Edition) $14.99 (AUD) Electra Heart is a huge leap forward for Marina, underlining that she is amongst the most talented young British artists around. A ground-to-air missile of ambitious and confident songs, the record was written and recorded in London and LA. Featuring 12 brand new self-written tracks, Marina handpicked a close group of collaborators to write and produce with including Dr Luke (Katy Perry), Rick Nowels (Madonna), Liam Howe (Sneaker Pimps) and Greg Kurstin (Lily Allen). Electra Heart is a blisteringly honest story of identity, love, rejection, doomed romance and hope all tinged with humour and British eccentricity. Marina says, "It's an Ode to dysfunctional love. I based the project around character types commonly found in love stories, film and theatre, usually ones associated with power and control in love, as opposed to weakness or defeat. I guess it was a way of dealing with the embarrassment that, for the first time in my life, I got 'played'. Rejection is a universally embarrassing | $24.99 (AUD) Recording was completed in August 2009 - a year after the original sessions - and production was completed in early 2010, and the album was produced by Nick Launay - a friend of the band, who had also produced Grinderman's self-titled debut - with additional production by the members of the band. In an interview with The Quietus in September 2009, Warren Ellis confirmed that Grinderman 2 was completed. Ellis also described the album as "like stoner rock meets Sly Stone via Amon Duul", "very diverse", and "psychedelic." | $13.99 (AUD) |
