Another excellent addition to the Jethro Tull catalogue, taken from the last day of the famous Isle Of Wight Festival on August 30th, 1970. The band was one of the last groups to be featured, following a performance by The Moody Blues, and directly preceding Jimi Hendrix, who would sadly die only 18 days later. The set list is familiar to any fan of the band's early years, featuring songs from their first three albums, and one song ('My God') that wouldn't show up on an album until the release of the 'Aqualung' album the following year. The DVD features tracks such as 'My Sunday Feeling', 'A Song For Jeffrey', 'Dharma For One' and 'Nothing Is Easy'. Also included is early career archival footage including Jethro Tull's performance of 'A Song For Jeffrey' on The Rolling Stones' Rock & Roll Circus, featuring Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) during his short stint as the band's guitarist. Frontman Ian Anderson, perhaps one of the best-known flautists in the world, is at his charismatic best, guitarist Martin Barre is brilliant, and drummer Clive Bunker gives a virtuoso performance.
