Long Way To The Top, the landmark event in Australian rock & roll returns. An original 6 part documentary series created by the ABC became a concert series in 2002, 26 Australian artists joined together in a massive celebration of homegrown rock & roll that played all around Australia to a quarter of a million people. The brainchild of Billy Thorpe and promoter Michael Chugg, Long Way To The Top featured Australia's major rock & rollers from the Stadium era to Sunbury. The film of the concert was a hit when screened on the ABC in 2003 and became one of their hottest DVD and CD releases of the year. The performances captured here are living proof that Australian music, and its makers, are still rockin' after all these years!
